I was born and raised in Marion, South Carolina. During the years growing up, I attended a local youth group at Marion Baptist Church.  It was there that I grew close to my youth pastor and his family. When I was 12, at centrifuge, I surrendered my life to Christ.  

 

For years, I didn’t know what true discipleship was and ran away from serving His kingdom.  It wasn’t until I was 21, when I finally started serving the Lord at First Baptist of Florence, SC.  I was an early childhood/elementary teacher for 12 years until I felt called into the ministry. 

 

I was a youth volunteer at South Florence Baptist Church when I felt the Lord leading me to become a youth pastor.  I talked with the senior pastor, Jim Grigg, on Sunday March 13th about my calling.  I thought it would take years before I would be in the ministry, but God had other plans.  Three days later on March 16th, the current youth pastor, told me that his family was leaving the church to serve at another church and they wanted me to become the interim youth pastor.  

 

The Lord led my family and me to The Brook Church in July of 2022.  I met my wife when I was playing/coaching a church softball team.  We have 4 kids, two girls, and two boys; Adalynn Grace, Lakelynn, River, and Sawyer.

Some of my hobbies include being with family, sports, cooking, and reading.  My calling is for students and children and I am very excited to see how the Lord will you use my family!
