I was born and raised in Kannapolis, NC. My parents, David and Donna Harless, taught my brother and I to love God and live our lives to serve Him. God was the priority in our home and church attendance was not an option. However, I didn’t become a true follower of Christ until I was 29 years old. I had said the “sinners prayer” a million times but it wasn’t until my dad had a series of strokes that I realized that I did not have the peace inside like he did. On April 20, 2011 at the age of 29 is when I fully gave my life to Christ.

During High School I met the most amazing lady that would later be my wife. Emily and I married on May 29, 2004 and we now have two children, Christian and Elizabeth. Shortly after Christian was born and I was saved, I attended West Lenoir Seminary School and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. 

The Lord allowed us to take part in founding The Brook Church in 2015. In October 2017 after the Senior Pastor of The Brook Church was called to a church in South Carolina I was asked to be the interim pastor. On December 3, 2017 I was voted in as Senior Pastor of The Brook Church. 

My favorite past time activities are spending time with my family, camping, fishing, biking and golfing.
